Coach Barbs has an incredible hockey mind and an even better personality to go with it. On the skills side, they break down technique in a way that's easy to understand and fast to implement — you see real improvement quickly. On the bench, he is sharp, confident, and always a step ahead. Honestly, what makes practices and games so great is just being around them. Coach Barbs brings great energy, keeps things fun and competitive, and has a way of making every player feel like they belong. The whole team feeds off that attitude. Could not recommend more highly.
Coach Barber is very easy to talk to and has a way of making players feel comfortable coming to him with questions or feedback. At the same time, he’s clear about expectations and isn’t afraid to set standards and boundaries when they’re needed. That balance really stands out—he’s approachable and supportive, but also keeps the group accountable and focused. The kids respect him because they know where they stand with him.
