Coached our team to nationals where we won it all. Without John we couldn't have done it.
Some coaches are good trainers and some coaches are good on the bench. Scoby is good at both. He’s excellent at developing the players. He gets buy in from all the kids and treats them fairly. He doesn’t speak to parents very much. He prefers to deal with the players. But sometimes, that’s best as it cuts down the noise.
Coached my son on his high school team. Took us to State Championships and then Nationals. He was our assistant coach at the time but was the brains of the team. Our head coach was not good at all. He also took him travel team to Nationals where they won the whole thing.
